Interior design cost in Pune
A full 2 or 3 BHK home typically lands between ₹6 and ₹15 lakh; bungalows and villas start at ₹20 lakh. Below is how that number is actually built up and what sits outside it — so you can judge the real cost before you speak to anyone.
What it costs
Three honest bands, not one teaser price
These are the ranges our full-home projects actually land in. We publish them because the alternative — an eye-catching figure that grows once you are committed — is the single most common complaint homeowners have about this industry, and we would rather not be part of it.

What is deliberately not in those numbers
Appliances, plumbing and electrical changes, false ceiling, dado tiling and civil work are quoted separately. They are real costs and they belong on your quote — we just will not hide them inside a headline figure and then add them back later. The number you sign is the number you were shown.
Why prices differ
The lowest number you see isn't a price. It's a subsidy.
India's two largest interior platforms both lose money on every rupee of revenue — their own FY25 filings show one spends ₹1.20 to earn ₹1.00, the other ₹1.16 to earn ₹1.00. That gap has to be recovered somewhere, and it usually happens after you're already committed — which is why the number on the ad and the number on the final invoice are so often different. A two-person studio with no venture funding to burn is structurally profitable at a price we can quote once and hold.
Cost questions
The things people actually ask
A full 2 BHK typically runs ₹6–9 lakh and a full 3 BHK ₹9–15 lakh, covering the kitchen plus every living space and bedroom. A bungalow, villa or larger premium home starts at ₹20 lakh, which is also our floor for that scope — below it, the job is either incomplete or the quality has to be cut somewhere, and we would rather tell you that up front than after you've signed.
Because that number is not a price, it's a subsidy. India's two largest interior platforms both lose money on every rupee of revenue — public FY25 filings show one spends ₹1.20 to earn ₹1.00, the other ₹1.16 to earn ₹1.00. A venture-funded teaser price has to recover its real margin somewhere, usually after you're already committed. We're a two-person studio with no burn to fund, so we can be structurally profitable at a price we quote once and hold — not one we grow on you later.
Included: design, factory-manufactured modular carpentry, hardware, installation, project management and the 5-year warranty on carpentry, modular fittings and workmanship. Not included, and quoted separately so it is never a surprise: appliances, plumbing and electrical modifications, false ceiling, dado tiling and civil work. We list these on the quote whether or not you buy them from us.
The kitchen page (₹1.5–4 lakh) is for the kitchen alone — the common starting point. This page is for the whole home. A lot of our full-home clients started with just the kitchen and came back for the rest once they saw the work; if that's you, start there instead.
Longer than a kitchen-only project (6–8 weeks), and how much longer depends on scope — we'll give you a real number once we've seen your layout, not a guess up front. For the largest scope we take on, bungalows and villas typically run 4–6 months; we would rather say that plainly than promise 60 days and miss it.
Rachana, who owns the studio — 12 years and 100+ Pune homes delivered. You are not handed to a junior designer working on commission, and you are not choosing from a catalogue.
Yes. Delivered projects span Hadapsar, Baner, Kharadi, Kothrud, Hinjewadi, Koregaon Park and more. We are not limited to one side of the city.
Send us your home's layout
A floor plan or even a few photos is enough to give you a real number rather than a range. Rachana looks at it herself, and there is no obligation after.
