Modular kitchen design in Pune
Most Pune kitchens land between ₹1.5 and ₹4 lakh and take 6–8 weeks. Below is how that number is actually built up, what sits outside it, and photographs of kitchens we have delivered — so you can judge the work before you speak to anyone.
What it costs
Three honest bands, not one teaser price
These are the ranges our kitchens actually land in. We publish them because the alternative — an eye-catching figure that grows once you are committed — is the single most common complaint homeowners have about this industry, and we would rather not be part of it.
Compact / L-shaped
₹1.5–2.2 lakh
Most 2 BHK kitchens
- Base + wall units in the existing footprint
- Laminate finish on BWP-grade ply
- Soft-close hinges and channels
- Granite or quartz counter
U-shaped / larger galley
₹2.2–3 lakh
Most 3 BHK kitchens
- Fuller run of cabinetry, tall unit for storage
- Acrylic or membrane shutters
- Pull-outs, corner units, cutlery organisers
- Quartz counter, designed lighting
Island / premium finish
₹3–4 lakh
Large 3 BHK, 4 BHK, villas
- Island or peninsula layout
- Premium shutters and imported hardware
- Integrated appliance housing
- Full accessory package
What is deliberately not in those numbers
Appliances (hob, chimney, oven, sink), plumbing and electrical changes, false ceiling, dado tiling and civil work are quoted separately. They are real costs and they belong on your quote — we just will not hide them inside a headline figure and then add them back later. The number you sign is the number you were shown.
How it is built
Factory precision where it matters, a carpenter where it doesn't
The kitchen goes to the factory
Machine-cut panels and machine-applied edge banding hold a tolerance and a finish life that on-site carpentry cannot match. Shutters line up, drawers stay square, and the edges do not lift in three years. Manufacturing happens while your home stays usable.
The bespoke pieces go to a carpenter
A TV unit, an awkward niche, a piece that has to work around a beam or a duct — these need judgement, not a catalogue part number. Our carpenters handle them, on site, with the designer present.
Most studios do one or the other and defend it as a philosophy. We use both because they are good at different things — and you can see the join in any project below.
Real kitchens
Photographs of delivered work, not renders
Every image on this site is a real Eureka home. Renders show you what software can imagine; these show you what we actually hand over.
Kitchen questions
The things people actually ask
Between ₹1.5 lakh and ₹4 lakh for most Pune homes. A compact or L-shaped kitchen in a 2 BHK typically lands at ₹1.5–2.2 lakh; a U-shaped kitchen in a 3 BHK at ₹2.2–3 lakh; and an island or premium-finish kitchen at ₹3–4 lakh. What moves the number is the running feet of cabinetry, the shutter finish, the counter material and the hardware — not much else. You will see all four broken out on your quote.
Usually because the advertised figure covers a short run of base units in the cheapest finish, and excludes the tall unit, the accessories, the counter, or the appliance housing — the things that get added back once you are already committed. We would rather show you the real band up front and hold the number we quote. If a lower price genuinely fits your kitchen, we will tell you that too.
6–8 weeks from final design approval to a working kitchen. The cabinetry is manufactured off-site while any on-site work happens in parallel, so the disruption in your home is measured in days rather than the whole period.
The kitchen and wardrobes are factory-manufactured, because machine-cut panels and edge-banding give a precision and a finish life that on-site carpentry cannot match. Anything genuinely bespoke around it — a TV unit, an odd-shaped niche, a piece that has to work around a structural quirk — goes to our carpenters, who are better at judgement than a machine is. Most studios do one or the other. We use both, on purpose.
Included: design, factory-manufactured carcass and shutters, hardware, accessories, counter, installation and the 5-year warranty on carpentry, modular fittings and workmanship. Not included, and quoted separately so it is never a surprise: appliances (hob, chimney, oven, sink), plumbing and electrical modifications, false ceiling, dado tiling and any civil work. We list these on the quote whether or not you buy them from us.
Rachana, who owns the studio — 12 years and 100+ Pune homes delivered. You are not handed to a junior designer working on commission, and you are not choosing from a catalogue. That is the whole reason this is a two-person studio rather than a larger one.
Yes. Delivered projects span Hadapsar, Baner, Kharadi, Kothrud, Hinjewadi, Koregaon Park and more. We are not limited to one side of the city.
That is how a lot of our projects begin, and it is a sensible way to work with us before committing to a full home. The design is planned so that whatever you do later still fits what is already built.
Send us your kitchen layout
A floor plan or even a few photos is enough to give you a real number rather than a range. Rachana looks at it herself, and there is no obligation after.
